We have spent time travelling round the gower peninsula and it is truly stunning!
I was slightly worried before we came to Wales, that I wouldn't have found the scenery as breathtaking as it is in Scotland. I needn't have worried...it is beautiful in so many ways! Stunning cliffs, beautiful beaches, cozy coves.....all so green and an abundance of wildflowers! It helped that the weather was also glorious sunshine!
I will just let the photos do all the talking.....
Places we have visited this weekend were :
Mumbles Head (probably my most favourite photo of the trip so far and our favourite stop over place)
Three cliffs bay....didn't stop here either....but must come back!
Port Eynon
Rhosilli & Worms Head
King Arthur's stone.....stopped here briefly...parking was very uneven, but the views are amazing! Somewhere to come back to! (No photo taken)
Marina Market in Swansea.....amazing food, smells & tastes!
Burry Port
Llansteffan
All completely stunning places...and I can honestly say that I have never seen such expanses of sand in my life! And not too much plastic/rubbish either....if any!
Next stop Tenby....and the beginning of week 2..... dwi'n caru cymru 🏴🏴🏴
